Refund & Return Policy for Digital Templates

Intent

This Refunds and Returns Policy applies to all digital products and services offered by WorkSmart Templates, including Canva templates, digital planners, organisational tools, and ASD/ADHD support resources.

General

a) We offer refunds, repairs, and replacements in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the terms set out in this policy.
b) Any benefits outlined here apply in addition to consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
c) Before making a purchase, please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and what you can expect from us if you are not satisfied with your order.

Australian Consumer Law

a) Under the Australian Consumer Law:

  • Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.

  • For major failures with a service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and receive a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for its reduced value.

  • For major failures with digital goods, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement.

b) If the issue is minor, we will provide a repair, replacement, or other suitable resolution.
c) Further information about the Australian Consumer Law and Consumer Guarantees is available from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

Change of Mind

WorkSmart Templates sells digital products. Due to the nature of digital downloads, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind once a digital product, access file, Canva template link, PDF, Word document, or other digital file has been downloaded, opened, accessed, or delivered.

Faulty or Inaccessible Digital Products

If a digital product is faulty, corrupted, incomplete, inaccessible, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, we may provide a replacement file, repair, suitable remedy, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Please contact worksmarttemplates@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase if you experience an issue accessing your purchase so we can assist.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply.

Damaged or Faulty Products

If a digital product file is corrupted, incomplete, or fails to download:

  • Please contact us as soon as possible at worksmarttemplates@gmail.com.

  • We will replace the product with a new working file or provide a refund if the issue cannot be resolved.

Exchanges or replacement files are only considered where a digital product is faulty, corrupted, incomplete, inaccessible, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee. We do not offer exchanges for change of mind.

Exceptions

We may refuse a refund, repair, or replacement if:

  • You misused the product in a way that caused the problem.

  • You were made aware of the issue before purchase.

  • You requested a customised alteration that led to the problem.

Response Time

We aim to process refund or replacement requests within 7 business days of receipt.

Refunds Process
  • Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • For digital downloads, you may be required to confirm deletion of the faulty or refunded file.
